Help Those Affected by Hurricane Helene – Payroll Deduction Fundraiser

In the wake of Hurricane Helene's recent destruction, six states in the United States have been severely impacted, with devastating floods in Northwestern North Carolina. Countless families and communities are in urgent need of help, and ABB is committed to providing support. To aid in the recovery efforts, we are launching a company-wide fundraiser. We invite everyone to participate by contributing via payroll deduction.

All funds raised will be sent directly to the American Red Cross, an organization on the front lines of disaster relief. Here’s how you can participate:

1. Sign-up for a payroll deduction by filling out the One Time “Hurricane Helene Relief” Deduction Form
2. Select the amount you’d like to donate from your payroll.
3. Submit the completed form to Payroll by October 18th to kchoysing@abboptical.com

We encourage everyone to come together in this time of need and help those who have been affected by this natural disaster. No contribution is too small, and together we can make a significant difference.

Getting Started with Cain Concur Travel

Beginning 9/25/24, our new Travel Management Company is Cain Travel. Please take a minute to go into your Concur profile and check your personal information. You can access your profile by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner. Please reenter your date of birth and TSA Pre✓, then wait 15 minutes before booking travel.

If you are having difficulty booking travel, please contact Cain’s travel support for Concur by email at support@caintravel.com or calling 303-938-2761. There is no charge for this. However, it is expensive to contact Agent Assist so please only do so in an emergency. That email is reservations@caintravel.com and phone is 800-346-4747 or 303-443-2246. For after-hours emergency service, please call rather than email.

Direct Travel will continue to assist with any travel booked through them until December 20, 2024. Please call (877) 503-0016 or email corporatealo@dt.com as these trips will not show in your Concur Trip Library.

Introducing Quarterly Performance Snapshot & Self-Reflection Process

As part of our commitment to fostering open communication and growth, we're excited to launch the Quarterly Performance Snapshot & Self-Reflection process. This process provides both managers and employees with the ability to track achievements, areas for improvement, and how you've embodied our core values throughout the year.

It's important to note that the Quarterly Performance Snapshot & Self-Reflection process is not a quarterly performance review. Instead, it's a flexible tool that allows you to capture insights and reflections as they occur, rather than waiting for a specific review period.

Here's How it Works:

1. Employees: Under the ‘For You’ tab, within the Journeys dashboard, you'll have access to a document where you can input your reflections on your performance throughout the quarter. The platform saves your progress automatically, so you can exit the document at any time without losing your input.
2. Managers: Under the ‘Manager’ tab, within the Journeys dashboard, you will document your observations on each employee's performance throughout the quarter. This includes highlighting achievements, identifying areas for growth, and recognizing instances where our core value were displayed.

Once both parties have completed their respective documents and submitted them, the system will prompt the manager to schedule a conversation to discuss insights from the previous quarter and plan for the next quarter.

We encourage you to take advantage of this tool to reflect on your performance and set goals for the future. Your active participation in this process will contribute to your ongoing development and success within our organization.
