ABB Auburn Hills
Has retained the perpetual trophy for a second year in a row! They have won the overall safety award for championing the 2024 Safety Compliance Visual Literacy hazard identification exercise.

ABB Erlanger
Has won the compliance week recognition award for maximizing employee participation during Compliance Week 2024 and in recognition of their safety improvements throughout the year.

Both of these locations have been examples throughout the year for their ABB Safety FOCUS. Thank you to everyone for your help in keeping ABB safe!

Join Our November Recipe Sharing Event!

November is here, and we’re excited to kick off our November Recipe Sharing Event! Whether you're a master chef or just enjoy a good meal, we invite you to share your favorite recipes with the team. This is a great way to showcase your culinary favorites and discover new recipes for the holiday season!

How It Works:
Submit Your Recipe (November 6 - November 20):
Fill out the Recipe Submission Form to share your favorite dish. If you’d like to include a photo of your finished dish, please email it to our Culture Inbox at culturefirst@abboptical.com with the subject line: [Your Recipe Title] Photo. In the form, be sure to select “Sent!” after you’ve emailed your photo.

Vote for Your Favorites (November 22):
Once all recipes are submitted, we’ll send out the collection for everyone to review. Cast your vote for your top picks in categories like “Most Festive Dish,” “Best Comfort Food,” and “Easiest Weeknight Meal.” Voting details will follow!

Celebrate the Winners and Receive the ABB Holiday Recipe Book (November 27):
After the votes are in, we’ll announce the winning recipes and share the ABB Holiday Recipe Book, a collection of all the submitted dishes that you can enjoy and recreate at home.

Key Dates:
 - Recipe Submission Period: November 6 - November 20

New Self-Paced Course Available: Trust First - Unlocking the Power of Communication

We're excited to announce the launch of our new self-paced course, Trust First: Unlocking the Power of Communication, now available in InVision! This course was inspired by the live session we held over the summer during our Summer of Learning series, where we explored the crucial connection between trust and effective communication.

In this course, we’ll revisit some of the key insights from our summer session, such as:
- The Four Cores of Credibility and how they form the foundation for trust.
- The 13 Behaviors of Trust—practical actions we can take daily to build and strengthen trust.
- Reflective exercises and personal action planning to help you put trust into action in your day-to-day work.

If you couldn’t attend the live session or want a refresher, this self-paced course is the perfect way to explore the material on your own time and deepen your understanding of trust as the foundation of effective communication.
