Short Term Disability

Disability coverage helps supplement your income during short term disability to help you pay your expenses.

If you enroll in the Long Term Disability plan, you will automatically be enrolled in the Short Term Disability plan that ABB OPTICAL GROUP pays for on your behalf. Please note, if you are a California employee, you are automatically enrolled in the California State Disability (SDI).

• 100% Employer paid
• 60% up to $2,000 per week
• Benefits begin on the 8th day of disability
• Benefit period is 12 weeks
